Induction Heating Systems for bending of pipes (IHSBP)

Induction heating systems for bending of pipes IHS-X-X-BP are designed for induction heating of pipes with the use of medium frequency current. The pipes are heated before bending in one or various planes.

Bending of pipes can be used for controlled bending of rolled metal products and railroad rails.
Bending process is automatic so it enables to exclude human factor and increases the productiveness of the system and production quality.

A set of supply includes:

• Capacitor unit with switching equipment (1). 
• Unit of matching medium frequency transformer (2). 
• Set of changeable induction coils with quenches (3). 
• Carrier gear with work-holding system (4). 
• Cooling system №1 (5). 
• Cooling system №2 (6). 
• Monitor box for cooling water (7). 
• High-voltage unit for effective switching of power transformer* (8). 
• Oil or dry power transformer * (9). 
• Control board with microprocessing control system (10). 
• Base box with feeding mechanism (11). 
• Digital SCR frequency converter (12).

*For systems with power of more than 400kW.

• Medium- and high-pressure pipelines for cracking;
• Helical coils.

Programmable control system of tube bender provides optimum bending data (rate, temperature and heating time) in heating and cooling phases for getting of metal mechanical characteristics and structure of high quality after bending.
