Universal hardening systems are designed for surface hardening of external and internal engineering workpieces such as arbors, gear shafts, gear wheels, etc. Progressive hardening is performed as an inductor scans the surface of treated workpiece. Simultaneously, the workpiece is rotated around the axes to harden the surface uniformly. The systems IHSH-X-X are produced in vertical and horizontal versions.
Treatment of workpieces which length is less than 3 m is usually performed in a system of vertical version. Workpieces that are longer than 3 m are treated in a system of horizontal version.
