Induction Heating Systems for Hardening IHSH (High Frequency Current Treatment)

Universal hardening systems are designed for surface hardening of external and internal engineering workpieces such as arbors, gear shafts, gear wheels, etc. Progressive hardening is performed as an inductor scans the surface of treated workpiece. Simultaneously, the workpiece is rotated around the axes to harden the surface uniformly. The systems IHSH-X-X are produced in vertical and horizontal versions.

Treatment of workpieces which length is less than 3 m is usually performed in a system of vertical version. Workpieces that are longer than 3 m are treated in a system of horizontal version.

A set of supply includes:
 
1. SCR or transistor frequency converter with digital control system;
2. Hardening machine equipped with:
3. Capacitor unit, designed for reactive power compensation;
4. Two-circuit cooling station, that cools workpieces of SCR frequency converter and capacitor unit with stilled water in order to avoid electrochemical corrosion;
5. Transfer mechanism of hardening transformer with an inductor. The moving is performed along axis of treated workpiece;
6. Rotating mechanism of cylindrical workpieces (this mechanism excludes a possibility of spotty hardening);
7. Mechanism that transfers an operation desk for heat treatment of gear wheels of different diameters
8. Digital control panel where all the necessary measuring and indication devices, regulating and controlling elements are situated;
Busbars, pipe lines, clamping and isolating elements.
