Thyristor frequency converter dual-channel type, TFCD.
Thyristor frequency converters TFCD type are used for dual-post mid-frequency metal smelting.
This type of converters are build on basis of multi cell inverters, power source of wich is carried from common straightener. Depending on power of converter, power straightener is build by 6, 12 or 24 phase scheme of straightening and inverter is build on dual-brige scheme of current inverter.
During synchronised work of industrial furnaces or heaters with phase shift in melting cycle or heating, effect of straightening graph power consuption from the source, that allows to lower set power of straightener and improve energy characteristics of frequency inverter.
