Thyristor frequency converter resonance, type TFCR.

Thyristor frequency converters TFCR are used as power source of electro-technological devices and designed to convert 3 phase industrial frequency current into AC of medium frequency.

Model line covers top part of mid-frequency range from 2.4 up to 10 kHz and produced in power range from 63 up to 320 kW.

Power part of converters has a two-cabinet structure, first cabinet is controlled rectifier and second cabinet is a resonance inverter with diodes counter current. Work of the inverter in resonance regime allows to use thyristors more efficiently on high frequencies with sharply varying nature of the load.

Converters are complete with systems:

• Internal self diagnostic and protection;

• multiplanimetric automatic control;

• remote control and regulation;

• display the inverter status and the basic elements.

 Frequency converters can be complete with analog-to-digital or digital control systems on customers demand.
